Board Games

Rows of board games arranged throughout the SeizaCon Board Game Room

The Hundred Year Library

The Board Game Room

Around 120 games, three experienced hosts, and a table ready for everything from a twenty-minute card game to an afternoon-long adventure.

The collection

A hundred-game pursuit, built one box at a time.

Hosted by Caleb, Jeremy, and Jeff, the Board Game Room is powered by a personal collection with one ambitious goal.

Meet the Hundred Year Library.

The room runs on the Hundred Year Library—a personal collection built around one long pursuit: owning, learning, and teaching every game on the BoardGameGeek Top 100.

Around half of those Top 100 games are here now. The rest are coming, one at a time, over the next few years.

Hosted by people who know the shelf.

Caleb, Jeremy, and Jeff host the room and help attendees move from “What should we play?” to a game that fits the group.

Find the right box

Tell us your group, your taste, and your time.

Roughly 120 games are on the shelf this year, ranging from quick card games to experiences that can fill an entire afternoon.

Choose your pace

Have twenty minutes or a whole afternoon? The library includes games for both—and plenty in between.

Get a recommendation

Tell a host what you enjoy, how many people are playing, and how long you have. They will put the right box in front of you.

Ask for a teach

Every game in the room has a host who has played it. If you want someone to teach the rules, just ask.

Help is part of the library

Learn it, play it, and finish the game.

You do not need to arrive knowing the rules. The hosts have played every game in the room and can help your table get started.

Room hours are the hours when a host is on duty. When closing time approaches, games already in progress are welcome to finish.

The last half hour

The team starts putting away the library during the room’s final half hour—not the players. Finish the game you have already started while the unused boxes are packed.

Your next game starts here

Bring your badge. We will help with the box.

Tell the hosts what your group likes and how much time you have, then settle in for a game that fits.
